University Of Maryland Taekwondo Club ( U.M.T.C )

U.M.T.C employs the modern training methods used by Olympic teams in training and practices, and competes at the state and national levels. U.M.T.C is affiliated with Gentle East Martial Arts, home of Master John Holloway a 7th degree black belt. Master Holloway presently sits on the U.S.T.U board and also has coached Olympic Taekwondo teams in the past. U.M.T.C is also affiliated with the U.S.T.U, United States Taekwondo Union and N.C.T.A, National Collegiate Taekwondo Association. All of U.M.T.C instructors come from Gentle East Martial Arts. All instructors are third degree black belts or above. In addition all instructors are qualified practitioners of Taekwondo and make every practice session fun, physical, and educational. Come join us, all are welcome.

1.) Provide structured, quality insturction that allows students to learn Taekwondo, and self-defense.
2.) To promote mental health, physical fitness, discipline, self-control, and confidence.
3.) Train to participate in collegiate, state, national, and local events.
